This picture was taken when business wasn't so strong. I remember competition with Si Yuan's team was strong and we were
quite depressed at the starting of the JEP. However, business grew later, we earned the 2nd most in the entire class. Click
here for a post on Marilyn's Blog about the JEP.
This is another company- Pups Love Company. [I am not very sure of the commpany's name, if it is wrong please inform]
There might be some members missing. Then, the business at Bean Co. wasn't that strong yet. So I went around taking
pictures of everyone. Ha ha.
This is the company that Bean Co. had most competiton with. I forgot the name of this company. Their main theme was on
Pokemon and that attracted a lot of kids. After all, our target was kids. Their top price was a dead valuable item- a Gameboy
Advance SP. However, it was dead dead difficult to get it. We eventually lost to their group [in terms of gross profit], they
had a total of 80+bucks while we had 60+.
Below is Johnathan showing Ms Ong a magic trick. It cost her only 20cents! Johnathan's company is our "neighbour company",
if you look in the background, you will see Bean Co. Johnathan's company is "Gazaar".
This is Shadrina giving us the traditional Henna painting. We learnt Henna in 2003 with Ms Shanti teaching
us. I forgot Shad's company name but I remembered their slogan was "Every girl deserves to shine".
This is Sufiyan and Marc from Gazaar. I remember they had that metal hook around the wire game. I could never really
get through the entire thing without losing any "lives". People not here are of course Johnathan and Caleb.
Here is Caleb from Gazaar. He just took a nail job from Eleanor's company. Unfortunately, I forgot both their
slogan and their company name.
Here is Rui Jie with his teeth blue. He is from that Pokemon Company and played a game with Bean Co. He won himself a
Monster sweet and he got he's nice teeth blue. Ha ha.
Here is the money [or rather coupons] we earned at the JEP. Each one is 20cents. And the whole 2 big chunks of it are
worth more than 60bucks. The containers hold special sentiments too. I remember they were ment for pouring/collecting beans
from our "Bean Machine". We had more than enough and used it for couponing. Persis and Marilyn also went all over to look
for Ms [Wendy] Yeo to ask her for it.
